This piece was inspired by the Glass Flowers exhibition at the Harvard Museum of Natural History in Cambridge MA. I wanted to create a split open seed sculpture that when lit underneath a light box would create a flower shape shadow cast on the wall. This piece was blown from clear glass and heavily cold worked.
